Important Updates!

Dear Aston Valley Families,

We hope this message finds you well. First and foremost, thank you to everyone who participated in this past weekend’s Slugfest and our evening fundraiser at The Phoenix Bar & Grill. Your support helped us raise crucial funds to keep our league strong and growing. We truly appreciate your commitment to the AVB community.  All raffle winners have been contacted.

We will be holding a General Membership Meeting tonight (Monday) at 8:30 PM at the Aston American Legion. We strongly encourage all coaches to attend as we will be covering important updates and planning items for the rest of the season.

A few key announcements:

• Cal Ripken Division Playoffs (Weir Park) are tentatively scheduled to begin on or around May 31st. We ask that all parents, fans, and participants show good sportsmanship and respect for umpires, coaches, and league policies throughout the playoff stretch.  Information about our Teener’s division will be sent out shortly.
• Tournament Hosting News:
  • 9U Districts: AVBL will host the tournament starting around June 16th.
  • 10U State Tournament: We are honored to have been selected to host the state tournament beginning July 3rd.

These are fantastic opportunities to showcase our league, and we will need volunteers to help make both events successful. Sign-ups and more information will be available soon.
