AVBL Updates 3/14/2026
Hello Aston Valley Baseball Families,
As we get closer to the start of the spring season, we have several important updates and reminders to share with everyone.
March General Membership Meeting
Our March General Membership Meeting will take place:
Monday, March 16th
8:30 PM
Aston American Legion – Post 926
This meeting is mandatory for all coaches, as we will be reviewing important information as we prepare for the upcoming season including league updates, Opening Day plans, expectations for coaches, and final preparations before games begin.
Parents and volunteers are always welcome to attend as well. Our league thrives because of the support of our community.
Umpire Clinics
We are also currently recruiting umpires for the upcoming season, starting at the Rookies level and up.
We will be holding Umpire Clinics the next three Saturdays at the Weir Park Pavilion:

March 21
March 28
Time: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Anyone interested in umpiring or learning more is encouraged to attend.

Tee-Ball & Junior Rookies Update
We are still forming our Tee-Ball and Junior Rookies divisions. As many of you know, these divisions rely heavily on weather and available practice space early in the season.
Once the weather begins to cooperate and fields become available, we will begin scheduling practices and getting our youngest players out on the field.
Teeners Division
Our Teeners division is still open and we will be scheduling an evaluation shortly as we continue forming those teams.

Important Upcoming Dates
March 28 – Field Maintenance Day
We will be looking for volunteers to help get the fields ready for the season.
April 11 – Opening Day & Parade
Our biggest day of the year! More details will be shared soon.
We are looking forward to another fantastic season of baseball at Aston Valley and appreciate everyone who volunteers their time to make this league such a special part of our community.
