AVBL Midseason Updates, Fundraisers, Districts & Exciting Things Ahead
It’s hard to believe, but we are already moving through another terrific season of Aston Valley Baseball!
We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our players, coaches, volunteers, and families for helping make this season such a success so far. The energy down at Weir Park has been tremendous, the baseball has been great, and most importantly—it has been amazing to see our community come together once again around the game we all love.
As we move into the second half of the season, we wanted to share some important updates and exciting things happening around AVBL!
AVBL Ice Cream Fundraiser – Saturday, May 16

Team Raffle Basket Reminder
As part of our biggest fundraiser of the year, each team is responsible for donating one raffle basket for Parents Night Out.
We ask team moms, coaches, and families to begin coordinating basket ideas now. Whether it’s a themed basket, gift cards, sports gear, family fun, lottery tickets, beach day, or something creative—every basket helps make this fundraiser a success!

District & Select Team Update
District and Select teams should now be formed across divisions.
Tournament information, schedules, and additional details will be sent out shortly by division commissioners and coaches.

Big News – AVBL to Host the 12U District Tournament!
We are proud to announce that Aston Valley Baseball will serve as host of this year’s 12U District Tournament at Weir Park!
The tournament is scheduled to begin Saturday, June 13 (the day before Father’s Day) and will run throughout the week leading up to the championship game.
In addition, AVBL will also host a special tournament for our U6 players in conjunction with the district tournament.
This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase our league, facilities, volunteers, and community pride. More information—including volunteer opportunities—will be shared soon.
Looking Ahead
After Slugfest, we’ll quickly transition into our Spring Season Playoffs, one of the most exciting times of the year at AVBL!
There is still so much fun ahead, and we can’t wait to finish the season strong.
